What more can you say about Mohamed Salah?
The 25-year-old has been a revelation at Anfield following his £34.4 million move from AS Roma last summer, scoring goals for fun in all competitions for the Reds.
Salah took his tally to 30 goals for the season with his first-half strike against Porto in the Champions League group stages this evening. He becomes the first Liverpool player to break the 30-goal mark since Luis Suarez in the 2013-14 campaign.
Suarez finished that season with 31 goals. We’re only midway through February and, at this rate, it wouldn’t be a shock if Salah ends the campaign with at least 40 goals to his name.
The Egyptian winger has exceeded all expectations since moving to Merseyside.
PETER CROUCH’S TWEET AFTER SALAH SCORES WAS SUPERB
Another former Liverpool player also reacted to the goal over on Twitter.
Peter Crouch, who is easily one of the funniest men in football and an absolute hoot on Twitter, made a tongue-in-cheek comment about Liverpool’s star man.
